Daryna Antoniuk, a journalist based in Ukraine, detailed the event for The Record. She reported that Kyiv’s main railway station was unusually busy on Monday morning, with many passengers queuing up to purchase tickets for both domestic and international travel.

What Passengers Should Do

In response to the situation, Ukrzaliznytsia has advised customers to consider the following steps if they are unable to book tickets online:

  • Visit a ticket office at the station

The operator reassured the public that the cyber offenders did not manage to disrupt train traffic, as all operational processes continue to run smoothly using backup protocols.
