To apply for the Qatar University Graduate Scholarships 2025-26, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Eligible Candidates: Open to international students and residents of Qatar from all nationalities.
Educational Background: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree from a recognized and accredited higher education institution.

Admission Requirements for PhD candidates:

Applicant must have a Master’s Degree or Higher with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
Standardized test scores (e.g. GRE, GMAT) are necessary to apply for all PhD degree programs offered in English.

Fall 2025 Semester:

1 December 2024	Open graduate online admission application and student visa application for new and international applicants
26 February 2025	Close graduate online admission application and student visa application and submit all required documents for all applicants.GCC Students: The GCC student must obtain a Qatari ID card through the official authorities in the State of Qatar After receiving the candidacy decision. The student’s admission application will not be considered unless he/she obtains a Qatari ID card.
29 May 2025	Deadline for new applicants and international students to submit all required documents, including Official Transcripts and test scores
3 June 2025	Admissions Department announces admission decisions for all applicants
24 August 2025	Start of classes and start of application for Defer Request
26 August 2025	Last day to defer admission.
28 August 2025	Last day for the add/drop period for all students
